Social Media is useful for many good things. With just one tweet, many  children are saved from getting kidnapped,three people stuck on island are saved. On the other hand it is like a fire therefore we have to use it properly, else it will lead to distract our mind and finally leads to destruction.

I am Ambica of Class X.....I am here to share with u some information about attractions related to  Social Media & Teenage .......I am also likely to share awareness on this topic!!

Social Media Attractions

Selfies:

People are going to any extent to get attracted by their viewers and further expect their post should be liked and  shared by the maximum people, which leads to maximum trending.   People are taking high risk and also loosing their lives.  Sometimes this tendency may also lead to depression.

Likes,views,subscribers: 

To get the more likes,views and subscribers  the level of risk is getting increased day by day and also dress code is turning worst day by day.  If we take an example of Tik Tok, which consists different categories & types of videos, many videos are useful in day to day life. To get maximum trending some people are posting their private videos also. If we analyse the mind set of the persons who posted their private videos, we get many unanswered questions, such as 

(i)Question: - Why you posted video? 

Ans: Time pass and Publicity 

(ii)Question: - What you want to achieve with that publicity? 

Ans -no answer but silence 

(iii)Question: - Can’t you do any productive things with extra time? Ans -no answer but silence 

(iv)Question: - Have you imagined, if your family members see these videos, what they think and what is the impact in your personal life?

Ans -no answer but silence 

Finally evaluate yourself with the below points:-

Is it useful to anyone including myself?

Do you enjoy with it?

Does it generate revenue?

If the answer is yes for any of the above questions you can conveniently post your videos.

Note: - In all the above cases the video should be shown to your family members.

Thumb Rule:-
Before posting any video, show it to your family members.(Parents, Sisters, Brothers, In-Laws, Spouse and his/her siblings, and also to your Children) if you feel ashamed to show, please do not post/publish such videos in social media, because some other way they may encounter to see the videos from internet.

Mobile Phone Mania:

People are really going mad for social media due to which sad  incidents also took place.  The moment we wake-up, first verify social media messages and immediately one photo is uploaded as status. If phone is not found even for some time people get annoyed.

Phone Mania is fear of :-

(a) being without your mobile phone or 

(b) being unable to use your phone for some reason, such as the absence of a signal or running out of minutes or battery power.

Effects of Mobile Phone on Children

Here are the few examples where social media is being used to Blackmail:-

I never understand why people publish their whereabouts in social media, one girl planned for Goa-tour and updated the same in her FB(Face Book), seeing the update ,one of her FB friend followed to Goa and kidnapped her in Goa.

One Girl studying MBBS, after knowing his friend character, she started avoiding, then the boy, downloaded her TikTok video, using software (AI) created fake videos and started threatening the girl.

In the girls hostel the boyfriend of one girl, asked to send the private photos of an another girl, using the closeness of her friendship she was able to capture some photos while changing her clothes.  Now both started threatening the girl.

 A woman invited a girl to come to her house for lunch, one person who is friend of women deliberately put fruit juice on the girl, girl goes to dressing room for changing her clothes and went to her home. Next day she received her photos in her mobile and they started threatening the girl, it is identified that ‘woman&team’ had already kept cameras in a secret area before the girl went into the dressing room.

Be cautious while changing the cloths in Trial Rooms, Dressing Rooms, Hotels, Hostels, Relatives House, Ladies Tailor, or any other place including Swimming Pools

 In the mobile phone of a girl, one software is installed, by a person, all the photos captured in that mobile are getting transferred to that person, subsequently that person started threatening the girl. Here the person could be your friend, your colleague, repairer, and might be your relative.  The same software can also be installed in your computer also…

Therefore: -

Never share password of your electronic gadgets

When you give it for repair, follow the process

For mobile, (a) do factory settings (b) get it repaired (c) again do factory settings (d) start using it

For computer, go to Control Panel\ Programs and Features and verify the software installed by the repairer, if you do not understand please discuss with your family persons, remove the software which is not required.

Please note, in all the above cases, the persons involved are whom you know, using their intimacy towards you they are collecting photos subsequently they started cheating. Before trusting any one please discuss with your family persons (specially parents). Further to be noted that in all the above cases they are caught and imprisoned.

Before accepting FB Friend Request (or in any other social media) please discuss with your family persons (specially parents).  Please observe who are all seen your WhatsApp status if you if you find a new person, please block them, WhatsApp status can be seen any one whoever saves your number in their WhatsApp contacts. evaluate yourself with the below Question :- Did I accepted any FB Request, whom I do not know ?

Gender Attractions

There are so many teenagers who get attracted to opposite gender,  students will not understand at the time of attractions.   Because of attractions at the tender age they cannot concentrate on the their studies and spoil their whole life.  These attractions makes the students more interested on their beauty and try to impress their friend.  There are many students who even say lies to their parents and go out. During this attracted time they actually don’t know what they are doing and go to any extent during this time.                 

For example: In a class if a boy is staring at a girl ,the girl wont be concentrating on the class but thinking "whether the boy is looking at her or not"; from here attractions starts!!

So its better if TEENAGERS concentrate on studies and not on this trash

Conclusion 

Finally I request every parent to spend some time to establish a strong bondage, when you are discussing with anyone (including on phone) if your child comes to you to share something, if possible postpone that discussion, and divert attention towards your child, please do not say "go and do your homework, do not disturb" with this child feels "they are being given importance" which will enhance the good bondage. All parents please just imagine when you become old and expect your child saying "do not disturb, go and watch TV". If bondage is not established when you become old your children just perform their responsibility towards you, but without bondage. When children expect  parents should speak, with them, parents has to spend and vice versa whenWhen Parents requires children will automatically speak, since strong bonding is established,

Thanks a lot to my father for guiding helping and understanding the concepts mentioned in this.  I want to say few words about my father, he is my friend, guide, instructor and lot more. We discuss, fight, play, shout, celebrate, talk(chitchat), and lot more….. he never asked to get score good in academics but always suggests us to understand the concept and the subject.  We discuss on many and different things such as politics, safety measures, technologies, youth, behavioral aspects of different people i.e. friends, relatives etc. Every day we  talk about the incidents and routines happened in whole day. My father also shares how he talks and spends in his office.
